Kevin O’Leary Smacks Down Laura Ingraham’s Billionaire Money Theory: ‘I’m Just Giving You the Facts’

Fox News’ Laura Ingraham was visibly irked when investor and “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary shot down her claims that Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is being fueled by billionaires.

Harris, who has emerged as the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination after President Joe Biden’s recent withdrawal, has seen a surge in campaign funds. Last month, her campaign raked in a staggering $310 million, with the bulk coming from first-time donors and most contributions under $200.

On Monday’s “The Ingraham Angle,” Ingraham and O’Leary debated Harris’s policies, but O’Leary emphasized her exceptional fundraising performance.

“If you’re Kamala Harris right now, you’re excelling where it counts,” he said. “Money is crucial in a campaign, and she’s dominating in fundraising.”

Ingraham questioned why billionaires were supporting Harris. “Kevin, you know these people. Why are they giving her money?”

O’Leary firmly rebutted, “She’s not getting it from billionaires.”

Ingraham sighed in frustration.

“She’s getting $20 at a time!” O’Leary insisted.

Ingraham pushed back, accusing Silicon Valley and Wall Street of funneling cash to Harris. “Why is that?”

O’Leary responded with a hint of exasperation, “Because it’s working.”

Ingraham pressed further, “For whom?!”

“I’m just giving you the facts,” O’Leary replied. “If you don’t want to hear them, I won’t tell them to you. She’s out-raising everyone.”

Ingraham tried again, “Why are they pouring money into Kamala Harris? Because she’s a champion of the middle class?”

“No,” O’Leary said. “I’m addressing a different question. Why do we get policy? The answer won’t come until after August 7th, when the real race begins.”
