Minimum wage rates across Canada vary by province and are set to increase in some regions soon. While some provinces will see changes starting October 1, others will implement adjustments on April 25. Below are the detailed changes for each province.
The amount of the minimum wage depends on various factors such as qualifications, education, profession, age, and more. For 2024, the lowest rate is $14.00 in Saskatchewan, while Yukon has one of the highest rates at $17.59.
